A really special book that documents a year in 14-year-old Dara McAnulty's life. Poignantly written, it reveals his experiences with nature and also as an autistic teenager navigating through life. McAnulty is wise beyond his years and his quality of writing is exceptional. A real testament to nature and using our power for good, this book is deeply moving and thoroughly deserves the awards it has won. It shows nature in its truest form: beautiful and perfect in its imperfections.
