Amari and the Night Brothers

The 8th and final book in the classic Anne of Green Gables series. A coming-of-age story set during World War I and following Anne's youngest daughter, Rilla.
This book is worth reading 'and that you may tie to', as Susan, housekeeper to the Blythe's, would say. I've enjoyed the whole Anne of Green Gables series and this was no exception. I only wish there were more! This book was set in World War I, and reading during the Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of what Rilla is experiencing is very relatable. I felt pleased to see Rilla grow as a person throughout the book and liked seeing Anne's world from a different perspective.
