Tally wants her own tribe, with people who know her; all she has are so-called ‘friends’ who misunderstand her, seeing her as a black sheep in a group of white ones. So, when the teachers announced a 5-day trip to GoCamp, Tally is certain that she wouldn’t go, experience taking its toll. However, with the help and support of her family, Aleksandra and Mrs Jarman, she is coaxed to go and give it a try.
