Last Sunday, Sunday the 21st of November, everyone onboard the international space station had to hide in one of the two escape pods and here’s why. So last Sunday Russia decided to test it’s anti satellite missile on one of it’s own. This resulted in 1,500 pieces of space debri lowly orbiting earth putting international space station in danger as the speed of the debri was 17,500 miles per hour, meaning it could cause a stupidly large amount of damage if it did hit it. The USA said that they would not tolirate Russia’s reckless behavior. In my opinion this was an incredibly stupid thing for Russia to do as it put the life’s of overs and an incredible risk.
