Big brand tests paper bottles.
Coca-Cola's plastic usage:
Coca-Cola is a big brand, with billions of people drinking it. However, because of how many people drink it, the brand was claimed to be the company that polluted our earth with plastic the most last year, so they had lots of pressure to come down from that position.
The solution:
The original container that the fizzy drink was (and still is) is a plastic container, and that might change. Coca-Cola has tested 2,000 paper bottles to see how well it will work out, and although it isn’t 100% paper (it has a bit of plastic) it is 100% recyclable.
The paper’s quality:
The new design of the bottle is paper, so concerns may be risen to the quality of it. However, the paper is firm, being a paper-fibre material, so it is environmentally friendly and a strong quality.
A few things the general public can do to keep our world protected:
As the saying goes, there is no Planet B, so we have to look after the one we have. Here are a few things you can do to protect our Earth:
- DO NOT litter.
- Pick up a piece of rubbish you see on the floor.
- Walk/ cycle more than you travel on cars, trains and so on.
- Recycle what can be recycled.
