Usually, the holidays are one of the busiest times of the year, but, with us all still stuck at home, I thought I might share a few of my favourite books to keep you going through the Easter break.

Hamish Ellerby and the WorldStoppers- this book is a real page-turner full of adventure,and there are plenty of books in the series to continue with after you finish the first. 8 and up.

The House With Chicken Legs- Based on traditional Russian folklore, this book is packed with mystery and a bold, beautifully built adventure. 

9 and up.

The Explorer- I love this one. Following 4 children as they trek through the Amazon rainforest in search of home, this book brings twist and turns that grips you to every page.
