When Amari receives a special package from her missing brother, she discovers his work was not all that it seemed: Quinton was a famous figure in the supernatural world. Now Amari has an opportunity to become a Junior Agent and her only chance to find Quinton.
This book was a great fantasy adventure with a fresh and relatable protagonist. The theme of discrimination was dealt with really well, by using parallels in Amari's life. Where she faced racism in her everyday life, she experiences prejudice for her abilities in the supernatural world. I particularly loved the very ending, it conveyed the message of the book brilliantly and tied everything up really well. Altogether a fun and enjoyable read with really good characters. I can't wait for the next one!
