My name is Joseph and I am isolating in Strathdon, Aberdeenshire in Scotland, with my Mum, Dad and sister. I am getting used to staying home now, but it is still a very curious time. My day looks like this: I will wake up at around 6:30, have breakfast, sometimes go for a walk with my Dad, which really clears my head from all the things that are going on in the world today. When I get back I start my work - this is around 8, work till 10:20, have a break then carry on until about 1. After that I rattle through the rest of the things I need to do then finish around 3:30. Most days I go for a run in late afternoon, which is a great way to wind down after my work and music practice. I play guitar and piano so I practise every day. I am worried about my elderly aunt who lives alone and is normally really busy but obviously Covid-19 is really limiting that. Something positive that I hope will come out of isolation is that people will be kinder to others and will appreciate friends more. When quarantine is over the first thing I will do is run An Socach (a Munro in the Cairngorms) with my Mum.
