Hi, I’m Noa. I’m a 12 year old girl and I live in Manchester, and I’m quarantining with my mum, dad, older sister and cat.

Lockdown here is definitely very hard but very different. All the coffee shops and shopping centers are closed and it’s very weird not being in school from 8:30 till 5:00pm everyday, and our school is setting us loads of work.

I used to do loads of after school activities and all my dance competitions have been canceled, but we’re still being sent dances to learn at home. We’re allowed to go out for exercise once a day, so I usually go on a walk or run with my family and I also do flexibility and cardio warm ups with my sister.

We FaceTime our grandparents on zoom and social distance visit our older neighbours.

I can’t wait for lockdown to be over, but at the same time, it has been quite fun and more relaxed, but when it’s over I can see my friends in Scotland, France and London and of course Manchester.

I think we should use lockdown as a time to appreciate the world around us and spend more time with our family, and remember, never take nature for granted.
