Isolation. Yet together. I am alone, yet surrounded by children I have never spoken a word to. Teachers glued to the screen, whilst we make do. Happy days and sad days cross over each other, feeling forgotten though never remembered more. I arrive early, sit alone and eat my breakfast staring down at the floor. Days pass in a blur, and before I know it I am home once more, wishing I was still there, though I was alone. I wish for normality, though dread the day everyone returns. Why must life be so complicated?
