Hello, my name is Arthur and I am 11 years old I was born in Dubai. I lived there for almost half my life and then I moved to England when I was 6.

I now live in a Farm House in the countryside near Silverstone Racetrack, which is lucky because I love cars. I live with my parents and brother and my sister and our dog Maude. My other hobbies are cricket, cycling and rugby. I am not able to play these sports because of lockdown. I miss my playing sport with my teammates.

We have been self isolating with my Aunt and Uncle and cousins who are 5 and 2 years old. We usually do learning until 12:00 and then we relax and play for 1 hour which is mostly communicating with my friends. Then we do some sport with Uncle Adam. We do lots of different things, my favourite is setting bike jumps in the field. My main problem in lockdown is our teacher - Mum - she has an extremely short temper and she doesn’t know what a fronted adverbial is but she tries her best and that’s ok.

I miss school, learning and having fun with my friends. It is good to know that I am going back in two weeks. I am in year 6 so it is my last year of primary school. Sadly I missed going on Residential, but I hope we still get our year six leavers hoodies. I also have my guitar lessons on Skype and I don’t like it much because it a bit fuzzy.

In lockdown I think it has really helped our creativity skills because I have made different things such as a Go Kart, a Treehouse, and I learnt to make pancakes, which might be useful after covid. My favourite part of lockdown was building the tree house because we are planning to sleep in it. I have loved spending time with Olive my sister, Alfie my brother, my Uncle Adam, Aunt Jemima and little cousins through COVID 19.
