My name is James, I live in a house with my mum my dad and my younger sister, we all get along most of the time but sometimes me and my sister argue.

My parents are both key workers. My mum is a nurse and my dad works for the council. However I still work remotely from home. This is because my school is quite far away and I have to get the school bus which isn’t running at the moment. Unfortunately my sister cannot work remotely as she goes to a local middle school. Another reason she cannot work from home is that she has ADHD and autism so I can’t take care of her at the best of times. It gets pretty lonely through the day so I talk to my friends on call.

In the future I would like a hamster as we used to have dogs but they died and my parents said no more, I begged and begged but they still said no this is why I would like a hamster as I could feed him and take care of him on my own.

The first thing I’m going to do when lockdown is over is see my friend Theo, he is my best friend from my old school which I haven’t seen in nearly 6 months. This is because I had to leave my old school because it was too expensive. Theo and I both share interests in trampolining and over the quarantine we have been calling and going on the trampoline at the same time. I also can’t wait to go to his house because I have been trying to learn backflip flat for nearly a year now and he said he would help me do it. He learned to do it last year and is very good.

I have also been talking to my grandparents about their quarantine in Spain. It’s very different over there and I like hearing about what there doing. I also check in with them to see their dog Blair he is 1 year old now and loves it over in Spain. But I miss him because not only do we not have a dog I trained Blair to sit and lie down. Every time I see him I am nervous though because I worry he might have forgotten the tricks I taught him. However he always seems to remember.

Thank you for reading that was my isolation station update.
