Blue Peter has launched a new challenge asking people to take pledges on three concepts Plastic, Power and Plants.

On the 1st of April blue peter launched a challenge asking children to take pledges to help our environment. By doing this you can receive a supersized green badge.

But what if I already have a green Badge?

Don't worry you can still take part you could encourage your friends or do it as a group. Then you can do a group application but you can only do this for a limited time.

Here are a few ideas to get you starting:

Plants:

• Plant pollinator friendly plants to attract bees ext..
• Save water by having shorter showers ext..

Power:

• Turn off electrical devices when you have finished.
• Don't leave lights on when you are not in that room. 

Plastic:

• Switch from clean film in to a reusable packing.
• Sort the recycling.
