A Kind of Spark

This was one of the books I read in the stunning and dramatic scenery of the west coast of Scotland this summer.
On the come up is the story of a girl with one dream: to become a famous rapper. She lives in a neighbourhood in America where (like many places unfortunately) black people are being treated differently. She faces challenges with her identity and people automatically perceiving her to be different than she is.
It is a fast paced book and a very good read.
