I am Lucy, a 16 year old girl from Manchester. Being the shy, reserved person, I am, lockdown is quite the treat. With the usual packed bus ride and a huge college to attend, isolation for me is a time to relax and admire the peace.
My typical day is as follows: Wake up. Do work. Walk the dogs. Sleep. Yes, I know, not the most exciting thing ever but of course there's in-betweens to keep me busy; I often find my bored self, resorting to baking, tidying, doing puzzles etc. but most of all: scrolling tiktok!
As happy as I am that I have people to spend isolation with, my 2 siblings and 4 pets make it a whole lot harder than it already is to keep on track with college work. I am in my first year of studying English, maths and sociology, and as a pre-warning, it is extremely hard to teach yourself A level maths!!!
Soon enough it will be my birthday so fingers crossed I will be able to spend it with friends and family over a hot day BBQ.
