League 2 side Cheltenham Town almost led City to a shocking defeat.

English team Cheltenham town met Manchester City at the World of Smiles stadium in Cheltenham and gave City a chance to rethink it all. Eighty minutes of outstanding football that led to the opening goal in the fifty-ninth minute to Cheltenham only ended with 3 City goals in the last ten minutes leading to a 3-1 victory to City.

A goalless first half ended with an unexpected firework display causing play to go on hold for the last six minutes of the first half. But Cheltenham had threats and after a half time break came back to score the opening goal. Alfie May’s goal came from the great hands of their caption Tozer the great throw in

thrower. The game was tense and even Pep was worried of Tozer’s great throws.

This was Cheltenham’s chance to shine and it was a true performance by the league 2 side who had City worried. But City had quality and in those last 10 min they pulled the Cheltenham defense apart securing their win.

It was a great day for the Robins but in the end the City killer shots left them win less.

COME ON CHELTENHAM!
