This March, a new blockchain platform puzzled the internet. BitClout describes itself as "The Crypto Social Network". Practically, Bitclout took the names of thousands of the world's top celebrities and creating currencies in their names. You may buy one of Elon Musk's coin for around $67,000 and one of Katy Perry's coin for around $23,000. If a celebrity confirms his/her identity to the platform through making a tweet, there is some of the coin reserved for him/her. This scheme encourages celebrities to encourage their fans to buy their coin because it is in their interest to do so. It may be worth keeping an eye on BitClout in the coming weeks and months.
