As someone who has a game library of about 200 games, I always get asked what my favourite is, and to that I respond... Titanfall 2.

Titanfall 2 is an underrated gem developed by respawn entertainment, and published by one of the world's most hated companies: EA. But, all off that aside, everything about this game is beautiful, from the graphics to how the game controls. Let’s start where almost everyone starts in first person shooters, the Campaign. The level design strikes the perfect balance between the fast and fun pilot gameplay and the unstoppable feeling of the titan gameplay. I don't want to spoil the entire campaign, but during one of the last cut-scenes, I genuinely cried because it is SO sad - someone you have spent the entire game with, sacrifices themselves to save you and uphold your mission.

Now for the meat of the game, the online multiplayer. Everything about the multiplayer is so polished. As with the previous game, the pilot loadout system still lets you customise everything, from your weapons to tactical abilities. These tactical abilities include running as fast as sonic, temporarily warping into another dimension, and kits with tiny little optimisations, which can make all the difference when trying to win a match - you can get your tactical earlier, allowing a quick flag capture off. The boosts are a powerful ability that you unlock on your way to getting your titanfall – they can make your weapons stronger, getting a free battery to heal your or your teammates' titans.

The titans are an extremely unique part of this game. Unlike the previous game, the titan system is class based, whereas the previous game was fully customisable. This makes it easier to go into fights, knowing your opponent's abilities just by looking at them. Each titan has their own set of abilities, and you get comfortable playing a certain titan, also, each one has their own core ability, which can wipe an entire enemy team. But, what makes these games so fun is the movement, which is easy to learn but hard to master. This is why I love Titanfall 2, and why it gets my highest score of 10/10
