Ok, before we get started, a lot of these opinions come from other parts of the LGBT community. Pride Month! One of my (and many others') favourite times of year, because it lets us express ourselves. Then… almost every big company comes along, tries to act "supportive" and exploits the event for advertising, and when July rolls around, they drop it and pretend nothing happened.

And it's worse this year, because companies are also exploiting the BLM (Black Lives Matter) protests for the same reason, and it's just disgusting seeing massive multinationals such as Apple, Bethesda, Santander and Airbnb hijack events. The last two even donate to "pray away the gay" organisations. So, in summary, this needs to stop! If companies really want good advertising, they need to be supportive "allies" outside of Pride Month as well.
